Ayurveda, Kalari Chiktsa and Yoga
Ayurveda, Kalari, Yoga The ancient school of indigenous treatment, Ayurveda, originated about 5000 years ago.Ayurveda is an aggregate of two Sanskrit words - ayur (life) and veda (science) and the word roughly translates into 'the science of life'. According to Ayurvedic principles, diseases are acquired if anyone loses the antithesis amidst nature, mind, physique and soul. Ayurveda principles are based on living in strict harmony with nature.

Legend has it that the Dhanwanthari, an apotheosis of Lord Vishnu, gave this sacred science to humans through sages. The literature of Ayurveda was documented in palm leaves, copper plates and stones.
